Cakes are a labor of love, and Holycow Cakes are hand made, using high quality, fresh ingredients. Each cake has its own personality and a story to tell, as well as being a mouthwatering piece of art- that is, living up to the name!

Holycow Cakes specializes in designer cakes of all kinds. These are not the cakes you will find in Sam's, Costco's, or grocery store bakeries. They are not sitting in the freezer/refrigerator for months or weeks for a customer to come and pick them up. Your cake will be baked two days before your event and iced/decorated up to 24 hours prior to it (depending on cake type), so it has just enough time to incorporate the flavour and produce the most delectable taste experience.
My work is customized to your specific needs. Your cake is made with you in mind, fresh, tasty and unique. I steer clear from vegetable shortening because what is not good for me, is not good for you and your guests either.
Because of the custom nature of my business, I book up very quickly. I encourage you to book as early as possible. At least two week advance notice is preferable.

Holycow Cakes offers a variety of special diet cakes. These cakes take a different approach in the making, requiring special ingredients. A change in texture and taste is certainly noticed, but all the cakes are rich, moist and delicious. As a matter of fact, a large number of cakes displayed in my portfolio are diet cakes, and I have had great success with them, leaving customers satisfied and wish for one more slice! Any combination from this list can be worked out for your needs.

Death by Chocolate - A layered dark chocolate cake, with fudge, ganache, or chocolate mousse between the layers.

HolyCow White and Chocolate Special - - an impressive effect of 4 alternating white velvet and chocolate layers filled with French, Swiss or Italian Buttercream.

HolyCow Chocolate Special - A chocolate cake, layered with chocolate meringue ( or nut meringue) and French or Italian buttercream between the layers.

Carrotgrated carrots, crushed pineapple, crunchy walnuts and the perfect blend of spices, glazed or topped with white icing or cream cheese icing and walnuts, usually chopped.

Almond- almond flour/meal sponge cake, filled, glazed or topped with chocolate icing and almonds, usually chopped.

Coconut- coconut flour sponge cake, filled, glazed or topped with coconut honey icing.

Lemon- sponge cake infused with lemon zest/ juice, filled, glazed or topped with pure lemon infusion buttercream.

Orange Ginger- sponge cake infused with orange zest/ juice, caramelized ginger, filled, glazed or topped with pure orange infusion buttercream.

Napoleon (Mille Feuille)  (French)-three layers of puff pastry alternating with two layers of pastry cream or whipped cream

Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (German) (Black Forest Cherry Cake)- three layers of chocolate cake, with whipped cream and cherries between each layer, decorated with additional whipped cream, maraschino cherries, and chocolate shavings

Sachertorte (German)- two layers of dense, not overly sweet chocolate cake (traditionally a sponge cake) with a thin layer of apricot jam in the middle and dark chocolate icing on the top and sides. It is traditionally served with whipped cream without any sugar

Zuger Kirschtorte (Swiss)- layers of nut-meringue, sponge cake and butter cream, flavoured with kirschwasser (cherry brandy)

Classic Tiramisu (Italian)- ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of egg yolks and mascarpone, and flavored with liquor and cocoa

Dobos Torte (Hungarian)- a five-layer sponge cake, layered with chocolate buttercream and topped with thin caramel slices.

Kievskiy torte (Ukrainian) - two airy layers of meringue with nuts, chocolate glaze, and buttercream filling.

Spartak  torte (Russian)- 7 layers of chocolate cake filled with Swiss, Italian buttercream or whipped cream.

Adelina dazed the Ek celebration party in February 2012 with her theme cake. Guests, cast and teams were stunned to see her recreation of the Sai Satcharitra, Sai padukas and lotus sitting atop a beautifully patterned green paisley base. None of us had expected such an elaborate creation and her cake became the perfect expression of the Ek spirit and success. Adelina throws herself with passion in every one of her cakes. She takes her work seriously, far beyond material assessment. With her, cake decoration is an art and she strives to satisfy her clients with absolute sincerity. I know there's no one else for us onwards!

Adelina made such a beautiful, ingenious and memorable birthday cake for my daughter’s first birthday in May. Holy Cow! J My daughter loves books, so I asked Adelina to make a book cake and it was just perfect! She used lovely pastel shades and added nice details to create a magical fairyland theme book-cake. Adelina took the time to understand what I was looking for, and added her own creativity and design sensibilities to create the cake. She even sent a graphic image to help us visualize the cake! The cake was almost like a centerpiece at the party. It not only looked terrific, but was also super delicious! I have seen and tasted other cakes designed by Adelina, and am very impressed and amazed each time at the ingenuity. She is really talented and her passion for her work can be seen in the end product. Highly recommend her for one-of a kind creative custom cakes, unlike any other available in Austin!

I ordered a cake for my brother and sister-in-law's 13th wedding anniversary- and since they were visiting us from India, it was a surprise case for this occasion! I gave Adelina the freedom to make a cake suitable for this occasion- and she produced the most wonderful heart shaped and decorated cake we have seen!- the inside was a soft, moist, pineaple filled cake with light and airy buttercream- she made the day so special! I highly recommend her cakes to anyone who wants a unique mouthwatering edible masterpiece made for that special event!

A cake price is normally determined by the degree of design and difficulty, intricacy, decorations etc. Because my cakes are so individualized, it's almost impossible to have a set pricing structure.
